Description

The SK, SK-E, PEK and SA series are intended for gas distribution networks, namely for isolating service lines, branches and distribution gas pipelines, and for blowing down lines. All valves are fully welded, with full bore and a floating ball. Torques are low, corrosion protection is of high quality. Gas is permitted according to DVGW worksheet G260, without liquid LPG. SK and SK-E valves are marked H2-Ready for networks with an admixture of up to 100 % hydrogen.

SK is an above-ground valve for isolating gas service lines above ground, for example on a facade or in a building. Sizes DN 25–200, pressure classes PN 5 and PN 16 (version without HTB). Connection: internal thread or PN 16 flanges according to DIN EN 1092-1, optionally with a built-in insulating insert according to DIN 3389-1. A self-closing thermal Firesafe lever can be fitted on DN 25–50 valves, also later on a valve in service. The valve complies with DIN EN 331, has DIN-DVGW approval and an HTB version (high temperature resistance, fire resistance). Operating temperature from −10 to +60 °C, external coating two-component yellow paint RAL 1018, levers black, yellow or aluminium.

The underground valves SK-E and PEK are designed for gas networks with absolute tightness and high resistance to ground deformation. Sizes DN 25–150; the version with PE spigots corresponds to PN 10, with weld-end steel spigots to PN 16. Steel–PE transitions are approved according to DVGW VP600, and the PE spigot length is sufficient for two welds. The stem with a double seal is protected against blowout, the body has a PUR coating, and stem extensions to road level are selected for the valves. DVGW certification according to DIN EN 13774.

SA blow-off valves serve for emptying, blowing down and bypassing gas in lines. Sizes DN 25–50, pressure PN 16 for the steel and PN 10 for the PE version, PUR coating. An anti-rotation protection in the valve box or below it is optionally fitted, which protects the line when the plug is opened. The design of the series has been proven by decades of operation.
