Description
KSTAR BlueSpark E4–12KT-D22 brings a hybrid inverter, batteries and a control system together in one kit for a house with a three-phase supply. The range has two power bands. Models E4KT-D22, E5KT-D22 and E6KT-D22 cover 4–6 kW, while E8KT-D22, E10KT-D22 and E12KT-D22 cover 8–12 kW. The AC output voltage is 400 V. The system works both with the grid and off-grid, so during an outage it supplies selected loads from the panels and batteries.
The storage consists of BP48100PF1A-G2 modules based on LFP cells (LiFePO4). One module has a capacity of 5.12 kWh, of which 4.6 kWh is usable, and an ingress protection rating of IP65. The maximum continuous discharge current of one module is 80 A. Modules are stacked without tools and without separate cable routing, and the low-voltage design is safe for the installer. The system can be expanded to 8 batteries, and the full capacity then reaches 40.96 kWh (800 Ah).
The KSTAR inverter in an IP66 enclosure is cooled by natural convection. The maximum PV-side efficiency is 96.6–97.2%. The DC/AC ratio goes up to 2, so more panels can be connected to the inverter than its rated power. The output is fully three-phase and tolerates imbalance, and power is regulated separately on each phase. This is convenient in houses where single-phase consumers are concentrated on one line.
Operating modes are set by a schedule. Self-consumption and peak shaving are available. The inverter controls a diesel generator and supports parallel operation in on-grid and off-grid modes. Compatibility with SG Ready is provided for heat pumps. Commissioning is done from an app over Bluetooth, while monitoring and firmware updates run remotely through the cloud around the clock.
The KSTAR inverter complies with IEC/EN 62109-1 and 62109-2, IEC 61727, IEC 62116, IEC 61683 and EN 50549-1, EN 50549-10. For grid requirements, VDE-AR-N 4105, NC RfG:2018 and C10/C11 are listed. Under C10/11, the maximum apparent output power of model E10KTBE-D22 is 10 kVA. The battery temperature range depends on the version. Models without heating charge at 0 to 50 °C and discharge at −10 to 50 °C.
