High-pressure safety valves for gases and vapours, set pressure 50–4000 bar
These safety valves protect high-pressure systems against an inadmissible rise in pressure. The set pressure is from 50 to 4000 bar, the media are practically all gases and vapours, and an oxygen version is available. The valves comply with directives 2014/68/EU and ATEX 2014/34/EU and are approved for ATEX zone 1.

Description
The safety valves are made in Mülheim an der Ruhr (Germany). They protect high-pressure systems against an inadmissible rise in pressure. By the manufacturer's requirement, such a valve must close tightly in normal operation, open on an inadmissible pressure rise, prevent pressure from rising further, and close tightly again after relief. The valves meet these requirements and are designed for extreme conditions. The manufacturer offers complete supply of piping systems for technical gases, including hydrogen and oxygen, together with fittings, adapters and reducers.
The set (response) pressure is from 50 to 4000 bar. The valves can be used for practically all gases and vapours. For oxygen service, a separate selection of materials and a special design are provided, tested and certified by BAM Berlin (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing). The valves comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and carry the TÜV component marking for vapours and gases, that is, for both types of medium. Like all of the manufacturer's valves, they are approved for ATEX zone 1.
The seat and disc (cone) are replaceable, so after operation the valve is repaired and its tightness restored without replacing the body. Versions with a lifting device for forced opening, used to check that the valve works, and without it are supplied. For installation in BLOCK piping systems and in the piping of high-pressure equipment there are various connection adapters, the type being chosen for the specific pipeline or equipment. The lifting device is needed to check that the valve works.
The valves are fitted on high-pressure diaphragm and piston compressors, hydrogen refuelling stations and storage vessels, cylinder and trailer filling systems, test benches, laboratory and chemical process plants, and in gas systems where overpressure protection is required. Service and selection of valves are carried out by the division in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The valves are suitable for replacing high-pressure safety fittings at compressor stations, gas filling stations and in hydrogen infrastructure.
