Description
The division designs, manufactures and installs components and engineering solutions mainly for the oil and gas industry and power generation. The range includes units for gas filtration, heating, metering and pressure control. These are skid-mounted gas pressure regulating and metering points and stations, as well as fuel gas conditioning units. The programme also includes pressure vessels and launchers and receivers for cleaning pigs.
All work needed to build a unit is done in-house by the division: from engineering to manufacture and assembly, functional tests and quality control. Products and units are made in accordance with the main international specifications and current design practice, fully to the customer's requirements. There are no typical ready-made configurations, and each unit is made to project. The skid-mounted design reduces the amount of work on site, because the unit is assembled and tested at the plant and delivered to the facility ready.
The division's strength is the One Stop Shop principle on which the whole group is built. The units can include ball valves, gate valves and check valves, control valves, actuators, insulating joints, fittings and flanges of the group's own production. For the operator this simplifies purchasing and approvals, because the valves, units and piping are supplied by one manufacturer.
The division's production base is the plant in Rivanzano Terme, certified to ISO 9001, PED, ATEX and EAC (TR CU). The group's 2025 report also lists a site in Castel San Giovanni for systems. The technical characteristics of typical units, including capacity, pressure and composition, are not published in open materials.
In the gas industry such units are needed at the inlet and outlet of gas distribution stations, upstream of compressors and at metering points. Before ordering, the working pressure, flow rate, gas composition, the need for heating before pressure reduction and the metering requirements are specified. Pig launchers and receivers are selected by the diameter and pressure of the pipeline. Pressure vessels are made in accordance with PED requirements. The composition of the unit is chosen so as to combine, on one site, removal of solid impurities from the gas, heating, pressure reduction and measurement.
