Dilock — gas slam-shut valve for medium pressure networks, up to 20 bar
Dilock is a series of slam-shut valves for medium and low pressure natural gas distribution networks. There are two models, Dilock 108 (DN 25, 40, 50) and Dilock 507-512, with a design pressure of up to 2.0 MPa (20 bar). The valve quickly stops the gas supply when the pressure goes beyond the set point.

Description
Dilock protects the consumer's internal gas pipelines and equipment from an abnormal rise or fall of pressure. Typical applications are cabinet-type and industrial PRS, gas supply to medium and small enterprises, commercial and domestic consumers, gas engine units and power plants, as well as district pressure reduction stations.
The SSV trips in less than 1 second. The set point is defined by a pressostatic device that monitors the pressure downstream of the valve. The valve can also be closed manually with a button on the pressure switch, or remotely by a signal from the control system. Reopening (resetting) is done by hand only, after the cause of tripping has been found and eliminated.
The series has two models. Dilock 108 is made in nominal sizes DN 25, 40 and 50 with flanged connections of class 150 RF per ASME B16.5 or PN 16 per ISO 7005, and with threaded Rp per EN 10226 or NPT per ASME B1.20.1 (for DN 50 only). The body is ASTM A216 WCB cast steel or GS 400-18 ductile iron. Dilock 507-512 is a compact threaded model in sizes DN 25×40 and 25×25 with a body of GS 400-18 iron or EN AC 43300 aluminum alloy. By designation it matches the Dival 507-512 regulators.
The design pressure of the series is up to 2.0 MPa (20 bar). The over pressure set points (OPSO) are from 3 kPa to 0.55 MPa (30 mbar – 5.5 bar), and the under pressure set points (UPSO) from 0.6 kPa to 0.35 MPa (6 mbar – 3.5 bar). The AG accuracy class is up to 5 for OPSO and up to 10 for UPSO depending on operating conditions. The ambient and gas temperature is from −20 to +60 °C, and the pressure and temperature ranges may differ depending on the version and the accessories installed. The stem is AISI 303 stainless steel and the seals are NBR.
The valve is designed to EN 14382 and certified to PED 2014/68/EU. Bubble-tight sealing is better than class VI per ANSI/FCI 70-2, which corresponds to class VIII per ANSI/FCI 70-3. A built-in bypass, a test button (where provided), a limit switch and remote tripping are available. Dilock is marked Hydrogen Ready and is compatible with biomethane and blends with up to 20 % hydrogen, with higher shares on request. Hydrogen compatibility declarations have been issued for both models.
