CST — telemetry cabinets for gas metering stations (mains, battery, solar, hybrid)

Description

The CST telemetry cabinets are ready-made equipment kits for remote data transmission from volume correctors and recorders installed at gas measuring and gas regulating stations. Each cabinet serves up to two devices from the CMK-02, CMK-03 and CRP-03 group and combines in one enclosure a communication module, an intrinsically safe barrier, a power source and switching. This simplifies design and speeds up commissioning of the metering station. The equipment is mounted in a standard electrical cabinet for installation at the station, and the cabinet itself is fixed on flat vertical surfaces, for example on the wall of a building or a station container.

The range is divided by the way of power supply. The mains cabinets for stations with 230 V supply, CST/ZE-UPS12/ICR-GM/SgD, CST/ZE-UPS12/ICR-GT/SgD, CST/ZE-UPS12/RS, CST/ZE-UPS/CMB/SgD and CST/ZE-UPS12/MOXA/SgD, contain an uninterruptible power supply, and their enclosures measure 300×400×230 mm with a weight of 4–5 kg. The battery cabinets CST/ZE-UPS40/CMB and CST/ZA(ZL)/CMB are built on the CMB-03 module with alkaline or lithium power.

The solar cabinets are intended for stations without a 230 V mains supply where a photovoltaic panel can be installed: CST/ZS/CMB, CST/ZS/RUT and CST/ZS/CMB-Solar (300×400×230 mm, 14 kg), as well as CST/ZS-MPPT/RUT and CST/ZS-MPPT/ICR GM/GT with an MPPT charge controller (400×600×260 mm, 18 kg). The rated voltage is 12 V. The CST/ZS/CMB cabinet contains the CMB-03 data transmission module, the CMB-03/ZS power supply unit and a 12 V 40 A·h battery, and the set includes a 100 W solar panel with a mount. The outputs to the panel and the battery wires are brought out of the power supply unit, so the enclosure does not need to be opened, and the Ex circuits are connected directly to the CMB-03.

The hybrid cabinets CST/ZE-ZS/RUT/SgD and CST/ZE-ZS/ICR/SgD combine mains and solar power. The set includes a RUT or ICR transmission module, the CZAK-04 barrier, an MPPT charge controller, a 12 V battery of 22–40 A·h and a solar panel of at least 140 W, the cabinet dimensions are 400×600×260 mm and the weight is 20 kg. For integration into automation systems and BMS there are the CST/ZE/RS (230V) cabinets with an output to a two-wire RS-485 line and the CST/ZE/Eth (230V) with an Ethernet interface.

All cabinets have a degree of protection of IP65 and are designed to work at temperatures from −25 to +50 °C. For each version the manufacturer publishes wiring diagrams and layout views. The cabinets are used in telemetry systems of gas distribution and gas transmission network operators, at metering stations of industrial consumers and at stations without permanent power supply.
