Description
CPT-01 is a turbine flow meter for process and balance measurement of the volume of flowing gas. In developing it the manufacturer used its experience in designing CGT turbine and CGR rotary meters. Therefore the device has good metrological parameters, which allow it to be used alongside commercial measuring instruments, small dimensions and weight, and simple installation. In the standard version it can be installed where explosive mixtures of gases of groups IIA and IIB with air are likely to occur, and in the special version also group IIC.
The main assemblies are an aluminium housing with sockets for pressure tapping and the HF high-frequency pulse sensor, a measuring unit with a jet straightener and a turbine wheel, a unit transmitting rotation to the counter mechanism isolated from the measured gas, and a rotating counter mechanism with an eight-digit counter and pulse sensors. The rotor rotation is transmitted through a gear train and a magnetic coupling to the counter mechanism, which totals the volume. The flow meter works with external electronic devices: CMK volume correctors, loggers and data reading systems.
The range covers sizes G16–G1600 at nominal diameters DN 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 150 and 200. The measuring range is from 1:10 to 1:30 depending on the size. The maximum gas pressure is 2 MPa. In the standard version the flow meter is mounted between PN16 or PN20 (ANSI 150) flanges, and to order with threaded connections. CPT-01 works in horizontal and vertical positions. The accuracy class is 1.5 according to OIML R 137-1. The gas and ambient temperature is from −25 to +70 °C. The device is installed both in rooms with a stable temperature and outdoors.
In the standard version the flow meter needs no maintenance, because the bearings are filled with a reserve of lubricant. For DN 65–200 external lubrication is available to order. The device complies with the ATEX directives (certificate KDB 04ATEX035), PED (UDT certificate, design pressure 2 MPa) and EMC, whose requirements are met by LF and HF (NAMUR) sensors. The manufacturer states 24 months of warranty with the possibility of extension. CPT-01 flow meters are supplied to Poland, EU countries and the Far East. They are used for process metering at industrial enterprises, in boiler houses, at gas regulator stations and for balance control in distribution networks.
