Helical ties WRAPLOCK, EZ-WRAP and Top and Side Ties secure the conductor to pin insulators in place of hand tying with wire and clamp heads. They protect the conductor from abrasion during vibration and galloping.

Description
Ties are made for bare and covered conductors, and for pin, line post and spool insulators. Types include top, side, double and spool ties, and versions for covered conductors (Coated, Jacketed). WRAPLOCK is designed for conductor diameters of 0.248–1.240 inch (about 6.3–31.5 mm) and line angles up to 10°. The ties fit C, F and J neck insulators per ANSI. The material is aluminum alloy with elastomer inserts, and plastic ties are available for covered conductors. A tight fit also reduces radio interference (RIV).
