Strut insulators and V-shaped assemblies for compact overhead lines 115–500 kV
Rigid strut insulators and horizontal V-shaped insulating assemblies fix the conductor position on compact overhead lines of 115–500 kV. They allow smaller cross-arms and a narrower line corridor.
- OHL voltage
- 115–500 kV
- Loads
- tension and compression (rigid design)
- Application
- compact overhead lines, upgrading existing lines to a higher voltage, fixing jumpers on dead-end towers and in substations

Description
The design is rigid and works in both tension and compression, so the conductor does not deviate from its set position. Such assemblies are used in the construction of compact lines and when upgrading existing overhead lines to a higher voltage. Another application is fixing jumpers on dead-end towers and in substations. The line corridor becomes narrower and the tower cross-arms shorter.
