SPHERA — aircraft warning (marker) spheres for overhead line conductors and earth wires

SPHERA are reflective warning spheres for marking overhead line conductors, earth wires and OPGW for aviation. The sphere diameter is 300, 600 or 900 mm, and the modular clamp suits conductors of 15–55 mm diameter.

Description

Installation is done by a robot without a helicopter. The sphere is fitted by a drone with the LINEFLY robot, including on live lines. 5 standard colours are available; the material is coloured through and UV-resistant. As an option the sphere is equipped with a built-in transponder for additional identification.
