PIF / VHD pin and strain porcelain insulators for MV overhead lines
PPC PIF and VHD are pin insulators for medium voltage overhead lines with a BIL insulation level of 125 kV. The series also includes the PIF 3 strain insulator rated for a mechanical load of 64 kN. All products follow European standard sizes.

Description
PIF 1 and PIF 2 withstand bending of 12.5 kN, with creepage distance 325 mm, height 200/160 mm and Ø30 thread. VHD 20 and VHD 25 are rated for bending of 10 kN, with creepage distance 350 mm and Ø39 thread. The glaze is grey or brown. Pin models sit on crossarm pins, and the PIF 3 strain insulator works at line anchor points.
