FIBERLIGN hardware for hanging self-supporting dielectric optical cable (ADSS) on overhead line and distribution network poles. The kit includes tension and suspension clamps on structural reinforcing rods, as well as dampers and anti-corona spirals.

Description

Tension clamps are two-layer helical, in Limited, Medium, Semi-High and High Tension classes. Suspension assemblies and supports are dielectric and aluminum, with series designed for short, medium and long spans. The load is transferred to the cable's strength members without damaging the sheath. Accessories include down-lead clamps, vibration dampers, ADSS-CORONA anti-corona rings and brackets.

Which classes of tension clamps are available for ADSS?

Limited, Medium, Semi-High and High Tension. All are two-layer helical clamps.

Is the hardware suitable for long spans?

Yes, the suspension series are designed for short, medium and long spans. The assemblies are dielectric and aluminum.

Why are anti-corona rings used on ADSS?

ADSS-CORONA rings are installed near the clamps to reduce corona discharge on the dielectric cable next to phase conductors. They are included in the FIBERLIGN accessories.
