Description
A channel of Ø15–20 mm runs the full length of the insulator, through the top and bottom flanges, and is closed with a rubber seal. Tests confirmed that the channel does not reduce bending strength. This design is possible for all standard and non-standard porcelain and hybrid PPC post insulators. The insulators are made by cold isostatic pressing (CIP).
