Description
Instead of a set of separate elements on pins, a solid porcelain insulator is installed, so the column becomes simpler and stiffer. Fittings are made of forged steel, ductile or high-strength cast iron with hot-dip galvanizing. Connection dimensions comply with IEC 60273 and ANSI C29, so the insulator fits in place of the old column without modifying the apparatus. Suitable for disconnectors and busbars where cap and pin columns have reached the end of their life.
