BIRD-FLIGHT and SWAN-FLIGHT bird markers for conductors, ground wires and OPGW
Helical BIRD-FLIGHT and SWAN-FLIGHT markers make conductors and wires visible to birds, reducing collisions and outages. They are placed on medium voltage phase conductors and on ground wires and OPGW of high voltage lines.
- Material

Description
Markers are produced in plastic, aluminum and steel. The plastic version is made of impact-resistant PVC, the aluminum alloy version is designed for conductors with temperatures up to 250 °C, and galvanized steel markers are also available. On MV lines the markers suit both bare and covered conductors. Installation is done by hand or with an insulated hot stick, and a version for robotic installation is available for ground wires and OPGW.
