Description
KSTAR GreenFlow CDA is a three-phase floor-standing all-in-one DC station. The range has two power bands, 120–240 kW and 300–480 kW. In the upper band the rating is chosen from the series 300, 320, 360, 400, 420 and 480 kW. The output voltage is 150–1000 V DC. Two CCS2 connectors make it possible to charge two electric vehicles at the same time, each at high power.
The station current is 350 A (up to 500 A) with air cooling of the cable and 500 A (up to 650 A) with liquid cooling. Efficiency reaches 96%, and the power factor is not lower than 0.99. The meter complies with class B with an accuracy of ±1% and has a MID certificate, so the station is suitable for commercial energy metering. Liquid cooling of the cable makes it possible to hold 500 A with a peak of up to 650 A, whereas air cooling is limited to 350 A with a peak of up to 500 A.
The enclosure has an ingress protection rating of IP54 and impact resistance of IK10. Protections are provided against overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, short circuit, open circuit, leakage, earthing faults, overheating and lightning. The operating temperature range is −30…+75 °C. Below 55 °C the station delivers full power, above 55 °C the power is reduced, and when 75 °C is exceeded the system shuts down.
The station has its own EMS platform from KSTAR. It supports dynamic load management and balancing, so overload can be avoided, and energy costs and the load on the grid are reduced. The platform unites all KSTAR devices in one system, and the station integrates with third-party charging management systems through OCPP 1.6 J. Connection is over 4G, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Payment is convenient and contactless. There is a 15.6-inch display, an RFID reader, a QR code and a POS terminal. The station suits public and commercial charging sites where several charging bays stand side by side. The final power and the type of cable cooling are selected for the current of the vehicles that are to charge at the site. For both power bands, certificates are available on the manufacturer's page, as well as the RED-CYBER document.
