Catalog models cover 100–5,500 hp at 2,300/4,000, 2,300/4,160 and 4,000 V, and up to 50,000 hp and 13,800 V on request. The motors drive pumps, fans and compressors in power generation, water supply and industry.

Description
The Weather-Protected Type I (WPI) version has ventilation openings with overhanging covers. Fresh air is drawn in by high-capacity fans, passes through the core and windings and is discharged outside. Such a motor is installed in large, well-ventilated rooms. The enclosure is made of strong materials with an anti-corrosion coating, and typical industries include power generation, water treatment and oil and gas.
Weather-Protected Type II (WPII) is better protected from water and dust than other open enclosures. The air intakes and outlets have three 90° turns each, on which water, dust and debris are separated from the flow and do not reach the active parts. The air ducts comply with industry standards, and stainless steel filters are fitted on request. WPII is suitable for outdoor and indoor installation in the oil and gas and mining industries and at water treatment facilities. Open Drip-Proof (ODP) with a cast iron frame is intended for clean dry rooms, and the open design cools the motor well and protects it from drips.
The fans of all three versions are optimized with three-dimensional flow calculation to obtain a higher airflow with lower friction losses. The frame is designed by the finite element method and keeps the stator alignment and low vibration. The stator has built-in 100 ohm platinum RTDs, two per phase, with leads to an auxiliary box. A 120 V anti-condensation heater is fitted in all frame sizes, and the bearing brackets have provisions for vibration sensors. Efficiency corresponds to the high or NEMA Premium class.
The manufacturer's range of high-voltage motors covers 100–50,000 hp at voltages of 2,300–13,800 V. Standard catalog versions are rated for 2,300/4,000, 2,300/4,160 and 4,000 V and 720–3,600 rpm, and the catalog includes models from 100 to 5,500 hp. The insulation complies with NEMA MG1 part 31, so the motor works with variable frequency drives, including the T300MV2. Rotors are made of cast aluminium or with copper bars. The design is adapted to the specific application with the participation of American application engineers.
The motors are built by the manufacturer's US company in Houston (USA), part of the Motors & Drives division of the group. The products are tested in in-house laboratories accredited to ISO 9001:2015, NVLAP and UL, and service centres operate in Houston and Edmonton. Typical drives are installed on pumps and fans of power plants, in water utilities, at oil and gas and chemical plants and at compressor stations.
