Description
The motors are made by a group of enterprises in Jiamusi and Harbin (Heilongjiang province, China), which includes a separate specialised electrical machine plant. The range comprises 347 series and almost 4000 frame sizes with outputs from 0.37 to 80 000 kW. The motors are sold to more than 50 countries on five continents and are used on gas pipelines, in the oil and gas, coal, metallurgical and chemical industries and at nuclear plants. The group holds licences for the design and manufacture of electrical and mechanical equipment for civil nuclear installations.
The high-voltage part of the range includes high-efficiency YJKK induction motors, YBX3 flameproof induction motors, YZYKK motors with a pressurised enclosure and air-to-air cooling, high-power YPT variable-frequency induction motors, synchronous motors, and motors for mining, crane and metallurgical machinery. A separate direction is large variable-frequency explosion-proof synchronous motors of very high rotational speed for compressors of national trunk gas pipelines.
For nuclear power, the group produces qualified (nuclear grade) motors for Hualong-1 nuclear plants, the main canned pump motor of the Guohe-1 demonstration unit (up to 12 sets of reactor coolant pump motors per year) and the main helium blower of a fourth-generation high-temperature gas-cooled reactor. Integrated variable-frequency drives, where the motor and converter are in one unit, have also been developed for thin-seam coal shearers and drilling rigs, including for explosive atmospheres.
