Description
High-voltage induction motors are produced with ratings from 0.5 to 35 MW. They are installed to drive pumps, fans, flue gas exhausters, compressors, mills, conveyors and other high-power machinery. The main fields of application are auxiliary systems of thermal and nuclear power plants (feed and circulation pumps, draught fans, mills), ferrous metallurgy, water management and land reclamation, the oil and chemical industries, mining and coal, cement production, railway and urban transport, and main pipelines.
The range consists of several designs. These are standard (serially produced) general-purpose induction motors, variable-frequency machines for operation from frequency converters, and high-efficiency high- and low-voltage motors. For hazardous areas of petrochemical, gas and coal enterprises there are explosion-proof high- and low-voltage motors. Motors designed to customer requirements are made separately. The manufacturer serves customers in power generation, metallurgy, water management, the oil and chemical industries, mining and the cement industry. Rated voltages, shaft heights, degrees of protection and efficiency classes for individual series are not given in the available materials, so they are clarified with the manufacturer during selection.
The manufacturer's electric motor business dates back to 1959. At that time the first induction motor rated 7 kW and the first 480 kW synchronous motor were produced. Today the range comprises about 180 series and 1890 frame sizes with ratings from 0.18 to 120 000 kW and rotational speeds from 5 to 10 000 rpm. A new production base has recently been introduced for this business. Manufacturing is in Deyang (Sichuan, China).
The motors are supplied together with complete electric drive systems, and the manufacturer also performs maintenance. The line of large and medium AC and DC machines includes synchronous motors, motors for main circulation pumps of nuclear plants and explosion-proof high- and low-voltage machines. Among machines already built, the sources mention a 24000 kW motor at 6000 rpm for a pipeline compressor and a motor driving the finishing train of the 2250 mm hot strip mill.
