Description
The division is known worldwide for the production of fittings and flanges. It was founded in 1965, and since then it has extended its range and raised quality with new technologies and constant renewal of equipment. Fittings are designed and made of carbon, alloy and stainless steel and of high-quality special alloys, including to an individual design with calculations to the strictest international norms and standards.
The plants are located in Northern Italy. In Arena Po (Pavia province, 105 610 m², of which 16 822 m² under roof), all fittings up to 24″ are produced, including cold-formed ones and mandrel-bent elbows. In Castel San Giovanni (Piacenza province, 141 887 m², of which 35 790 m² under roof), flanges and all seamless and welded fittings up to 90″ are produced. Both plants have a quality department that monitors compliance with the customer's standards. The sites are located near European road and rail networks, a short distance from the port of Genoa and the airports of Milan. The covered production areas are 16 822 m² in Arena Po and 35 790 m² in Castel San Giovanni, and the rest of the territory is open yards. The range is selected by size (up to 24″ or up to 90″), material and method of manufacture, seamless or welded. According to the group's report, the division carries out its own metallurgical processes: forging, heat treatment and finishing. The products are used in the construction of trunk gas and oil pipelines, gas distribution stations, compressor stations, underground gas storage and process plants. The plants are certified to ISO 9001 and PED, and Castel San Giovanni also to EAC (TR CU).
