Monolithic insulating joints for gas, oil and water, 1/8″–128″, ANSI 150 – API 10 000
Monolithic insulating joints are permanent welded assemblies that electrically separate sections of a pipeline. The versions cover sizes ND 1/8″–128″ and pressures from ANSI 150 to API 10 000 for gas, oil, water and petrochemical products. Full-cycle production is located in Castel San Giovanni.

Description
The company was founded in 1965 and has belonged to the industrial group since 2016. It is one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of monolithic insulating joints for the gas, oil and water industries. A monolithic insulating joint is a permanent welded assembly that electrically separates sections of a pipeline. This design is chosen when the assembly must be permanent and welded, as at the inlet and outlet of gas distribution stations. It is needed for cathodic corrosion protection systems at the inlet and outlet of gas distribution stations, compressor stations and underground gas storage, at the boundaries of pipeline sections and at connections to industrial facilities.
The manufacturer is known for its part in large projects of high complexity and for its ability to adapt design, development and production to customer requirements. It supplies products for any application and conditions, including the most difficult, and supports the customer at every stage. This covers project management, individual design, supply chain control, manufacturing and testing.
Production in Castel San Giovanni (Piacenza) covers the full cycle from raw material to finished product. The range corresponds to sizes ND 1/8″–128″ and pressures from ANSI 150 to API 10 000. Working media are sweet and sour gas, crude oil, hydrocarbons, water and petrochemical products.
The U-Seal seal is the manufacturer's own development. It gives considerably higher tightness and markedly better resistance to explosive decompression compared with traditional seals. The system is used in critical assemblies at pressure classes up to API 10 000, and on highly corrosive and toxic media. The temperature range is given in the source with an error ("from −60° to −160 °C, 250 °C for ANSI 300"), so it should be confirmed with the manufacturer before selection. For selection, state the diameter within ND 1/8″–128″, the pressure class from ANSI 150 to API 10 000, the working medium and the temperature. The exact temperature values, version and scope of supply are agreed with the manufacturer. The company is certified to ISO 9001, PED and ATEX.

Questions and answers
What range of sizes and pressures do the monolithic insulating joints have?
Sizes ND 1/8″–128″ and pressures from ANSI 150 to API 10 000. Production is full-cycle, from raw material to finished product.
Which working media are these joints suitable for?
Sweet and sour gas, crude oil, hydrocarbons, water and petrochemical products. The U-Seal seal is also used on corrosive and toxic media.
What temperature are the joints permitted for?
The source gives "from −60° to −160 °C, 250 °C for ANSI 300", which is recorded with an error, probably −60…+160 °C. The value must be confirmed with the manufacturer.
