Description
Tees, manifolds and distributors are connecting fittings for pipelines and plant piping. Tees are used in the construction of new pipelines and for making branches on lines in service, including hot tapping. The media are oil, gas, sour gas and water in pipeline and plant construction.
Tees are made welded or with a drawn-out neck, with guide bars for the passage of cleaning and inspection pigs, in a split design, and as tapping tees for connection under pressure. The connection is flanged or weld-end. Standard materials up to PN 16 are selected according to section 1 of DIN 2470, above PN 16 according to G 463, and other materials are used on request. For water pipelines an internal concrete or plastic lining can be applied. The standard temperature range is from −20 to +60 °C, special versions on request, installation underground or above ground. According to the general catalogue for gas transport, tees have a diameter of DN 80–1600 and a nominal pressure of PN 50–320.
Manifolds and distributors are made to the individual requirements of the customer for pipeline and plant construction. Design, calculation, engineering and manufacture are carried out from a single source, with all manufacturing and testing requirements met according to the specified codes. They work mainly on gas, but are also suitable for other gaseous and liquid media, in underground and above-ground installation. According to the catalogue, manifolds have a diameter of DN 80–1600 and a pressure up to PN 230, while a separate data sheet on manifolds gives diameters up to 60″. A separate installation and operating manual is available for manifolds. Typical applications are manifolds and distribution headers of gas metering stations, gas distribution stations, compressor stations and underground gas storage facilities, tie-in points and branches of trunk gas pipelines.
All products undergo heat treatment in a high-capacity annealing furnace with temperature control and recording, and the production and testing capabilities allow various corrosion protection systems. Manufacture follows DIN EN 12007-3, DVGW worksheet G 463, the TRFL technical rules, the ASME code and other international standards and specifications. Supply is with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 inspection certificates. The company is certified to PED, AD2000-HP0 and W0, DIN EN ISO 3834-2.
