Description
The communication channel is built over the MV cables that already link the secondary substations of a city network, so there is no need to lay optical fibre or lease channels. ZBP-1 carries RMU telecontrol, meter data and fault passage indicator signals to the primary substation. OFDM modulation withstands interference and changes in cable line characteristics better. The equipment is connected to the network phases through capacitive coupling devices.
