CIF, MCI and HPCI are modular systems for injecting current into the neutral, with which arc suppression coils are tuned precisely in highly symmetrical networks. They work at neutral displacement voltage < 0.5 %, and HPCI also serves as a pulse cabinet for earth fault location.

Description
CIF is the standard version for 20 kV networks with capacitive current up to 1000 A; injection power is reduced manually. MCI uses multi-frequency injection in 20 kV networks up to 1300 A and needs no chokes or additional voltage transformers. HPCI combines current injection and the pulse cabinet function, so one unit covers both coil tuning and earth fault location. All versions can be retrofitted to existing REG-DP and REG-DPA regulators.
