TCA-A/C/D/E — RTUs with directional fault passage indicator for MV networks
TCA units are telecontrol terminals with a built-in directional fault current passage indicator for automation of secondary substations, RMUs and overhead line sectionalising points. They operate to IEC 60870-5-104 with FLISR, record 2500–4000 events and COMTRADE waveforms at 7200 Hz.

Description
The range is divided by the type of installation. TCA-A is fitted on overhead lines and cables, TCA-C on compact RMUs with 2–3 feeders, TCA-D on overhead line load-break switches, and TCA-E in modular switchgear and secondary substations. The indicator works in networks with solidly earthed neutral, resistance-earthed neutral, isolated neutral and compensated neutral with a Petersen coil. TCA-C has up to 48 DI, 8 DO and 14 analogue channels. Fault data and waveforms go to the dispatcher, and FLISR isolates the faulted section.
