Description
Besides individual terminals, the manufacturer supplies relay protection, automation and control cabinets assembled and wired at the factory. The list of types covers slice cabinets (sections), and protection cabinets for lines, transformers, busbars, reactors, generators (alternators) and synchronization cabinets.
The cabinets are fitted with devices from the manufacturer's own ranges. These are PROTECTA terminals (families DTIVA, DTVA, DTRV, DGEN, DGYD/OGYD), Smartline S24 and S16 relays, DVEZ bay controllers, and the automation devices HSBT, METRA, ASZKG and TRIM/PoW. The range includes line and cable differential protection S24/DL, DTIVA/Di and DTVA/Di, distance-differential DTIVA/LDi, transformer differential protection S24/T, DTRV/T2 and DTRV/T3, centralized DGYD and decentralized OGYD busbar protection, and generator protection S24/DG, DGEN/2 and DGEN/3. For motors there are the terminals S16/MDT and DTIVA/MD, for temperature monitoring the relays CTT4 and CTT8 on PT100 sensors, and for control of the arc suppression coil the DRL system.
The cabinet composition is defined by the design of the particular substation. A line gets distance or differential protection with auto-reclosing and breaker failure protection, a transformer gets differential protection and an OLTC regulator, busbars get centralized or decentralized differential protection, and a generator gets a set of unit protections and an auto-synchronizer.
Factory assembly and wiring reduce the amount of work on site, and the cabinet arrives ready for connection according to the enclosed diagrams. The same concept is implemented in the decoupling protection cabinets for generating plants, which are supplied fully assembled and configured, with an optional auto-reclosing function for unmanned substations.
The cabinets are part of the manufacturer's wider offer. It also covers engineering calculations and studies, acceptance tests, on-site relay testing and personnel training in MV/LV network protection, but these services are not presented in the catalog as separate items. Applications are new and reconstructed substations of grid companies, switchgear of power plants and industrial substations. The manufacturer does not publish technical data for particular cabinets, the characteristics are determined by the composition of the installed terminals, so the device composition is agreed first when ordering.
