Description
The SO-52v11 performs measurement and control in switchgear bays of all voltage classes, as well as in the automation of boiler houses, pumping stations and treatment plants. It implements distributed or mixed telemechanics and field measurements as part of station automation, belongs to the integrated system of station interlocking, and performs synchro-check and the functions of a field disturbance recorder. The controller is assembled from modules in a 19″/6U cassette, connected and powered by an internal bus. These include the PJC-86x central processor, PTS communication modules (multimode and single-mode optical fiber, RS-232, RS-485), MPA measurement and communication modules, MPL analog measurement modules, MSS digital output modules, MWA analog output modules, MWS digital input modules for 220/110/48/24 V and MZA power supply units.
The controllers perform local automation and control sequences, count pulses from electricity, gas and water meters, support remote or local parameterization of inputs and outputs, and local control from a graphic terminal. Time is synchronized continuously with an accuracy better than 1 ms, and events are written to non-volatile memory buffers. The controllers are connected in a star, a chain or a redundant bus.
The SO-52v12 is intended for transmission and distribution substations and industrial control systems. Synchronization, auto-reclosing, interlocking, recording and protection functions, as well as module parameters, are configured with the pConfig program, and expansion is done by adding modules to spare slots of the cassette. The small dimensions with a large number of signals are convenient during modernizations and where there is little mounting space. Digital inputs come in 16, 32, 64 or 72 for 24, 48, 60 or 220/230 V, and analog inputs accept 4–20 mA, ±20 mA, 0–1 A, 0–5 A AC and 57.7/100 V AC.
The SO-52v21 is built on a single hardware base with a dual-core processor, where the ARM core runs the operating system and the DSP handles the real-time control and automation system. On this base are built RTUs, bay controllers, measuring transducers, data recorders, communication concentrators, protocol converters, PLCs, protection relays and specialized devices. Algorithms are created under PN-EN 61131, and cybersecurity mechanisms are implemented. Communication runs over Ethernet TP100 or FX100, RS-232, RS-485, optical fiber, a built-in 2G, 3G or 4G modem and radio, with the PN-EN 60870-5-101/104, DNP3.0 and PN-EN 61850 protocols. A complete SO-52v21 RTU for MV points is supplied in an RXA metal enclosure of 350×430×250 mm with an MZB-220 power supply unit, batteries, a GSM antenna and a temperature sensor, and it is well suited for smart grids.
