Description
Communication redundancy is provided by the PRP and HSR protocols according to IEC 62439-3. In Redbox mode the device connects HSR networks to ordinary Ethernet networks. The unit has 4 digital inputs and 4 outputs for local signals. The gateway is used in substation upgrades, when old devices must be included in a digital system.
