Description
The cabinet is installed in a secondary substation or next to a load switch on a pole, to convert an already installed switching device to remote control. The TCA controller collects states and measurements, controls the drives and sends data to the control centre. Communication runs over IEC 60870-5-104, and the FLISR logic finds the faulty section, isolates it and restores supply to the rest of the network. The cabinets are compatible with switching devices of different manufacturers, so they are used both at new sites and when upgrading existing RMU. The manufacturer positions this solution as a cyber-secure monitoring and automation system.
