RGDAT — directional fault and voltage-absence indicator for MV cubicles

RGDAT is a directional fault and voltage-absence indicator for MV cubicles of remotely controlled substations. The device determines the direction of a fault and the loss of voltage on the line and sends signals to the RTU.

Description

Current is measured by 3 CTs from the kit, voltage optionally by 3 capacitive dividers. The signal is processed by a 32-bit ARM processor with Fourier analysis at 3000 samples/s. The output has 3 signalling relays and a 4–20 mA analog output. Settings are set from a PC over RS232.
