MV Flexible RTU modular RTU/controller for distribution networks
MV Flexible RTU is a modular RTU for automation of secondary substations and RMUs with distributed generation control functions. The device monitors several RMU feeders, detects faults with direction, records disturbances, supports IEC 61131-3 logic and works as a protocol gateway, including IEC 61850.

Description
The device is assembled from modules of digital inputs and outputs, DC and AC analog inputs and analog outputs, to match the signal count of a particular site. This is how compact RMUs, overhead line load break switches and reclosers are automated. Remote control, a fault current indicator and supervision of MV and LV networks are combined in one device. DER control functions are needed where solar plants and other sources are connected to the MV network.
