MST 2, MICRO 2 NTE and SSC 2 are telecontrol devices for remote control and monitoring systems of extra-high, high and medium voltage substations and switchgear. They work as part of the windEX dispatch control system and other SCADA systems. They are manufactured at the plant in Łódź (Poland).

Description
The modular MST 2 controller collects signals on equipment operation (telemetering, telesignalling), executes telecommands and exchanges data with the digital IED devices of the substation, that is with protections and bay terminals. The composition includes subsystems of discrete inputs and outputs, DC and AC measurement modules, analog outputs and counter inputs for pulse energy meters. The units are placed in Euro 19″ cassettes (IEC 60297), a 4U cassette holds 8 modules of 32 inputs or 16–32 outputs each. The maximum capacity is 7,168 inputs and 3,548 individual outputs in 28 cassettes.
MST 2 works as a concentrator and protocol converter, performs station, field and inter-field interlocking and synchro-check, that is closing of a circuit breaker with synchronism supervision. The controller receives data from external transducers and is synchronized from time references. The supply is =24, =110, =220 V or ~230 V with a 24 V UPS, the consumption is up to 60 W.
MICRO 2 NTE is intended for distributed telecontrol of small and large facilities. 6U high packages are placed in a 19″ cassette (6U/84T), and the composition includes up to 8 modules of 32 inputs, up to 8 modules of 16 relay outputs, up to 16 analog inputs and counter inputs. If the capacity of one controller is insufficient, two MICRO 2 NTE work as one RTU for the control center. The protocols are DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101/103/104, IEC 1107, SPA, Modbus, LON, CAN and others, access is through a web interface and Telnet, and the power supply unit is dual-circuit.
SSC 2 is responsible for the central alarm of the substation. The device visualizes events, gives optical and acoustic signals and controls the contacts of the alarm relay. It has up to 222 discrete inputs, a panel with up to 40 LEDs of three colors, 3 sirens and 4 relays, combinational and sequential logic modules, and timers for shaping, filtering and delaying pulses. The states are transmitted to the upper-level system, including through an external GSM modem, so the collection and display of data can be separated. The SSC 2 enclosure is a 19″ cassette, the supply is 120–220 V DC or 230 V AC.
All three devices have self-diagnostics and a remote engineering channel for changing the configuration and updating the software. They are designed for indoor use at temperatures from −10 to +55 °C, with a degree of protection of IP20.
