IKI-55 is a Grid Controller feeder control unit for switchgear with load-break switches. It performs directional fault detection, measures power flows and controls load-break switches and earthing switches. Communication runs over IEC 60870-5-104, MQTT, REST and Modbus RTU.

Description
IKI-55 is used in switchgear with load-break switches. The device detects faults by direction, measures power flows and controls load-break switches and earthing switches. In the basic version it connects to the data transmission network and exchanges information with the control centre and other remote stations over various protocols, and it can also operate as a Modbus master.
Measuring section. The controller is designed for low-power current transformers under IEC 61869-10 and low-power voltage transformers under IEC 61869-11. Through a low-signal adapter, conventional current transformers and capacitive and precision voltage dividers are also connected. Voltages, currents, power, frequency and cos φ are measured, as instantaneous and averaged values. With an additional adapter, cross-calibration and phase comparison of voltages are available. Fault detection covers directional short circuit and earth fault, directional static and transient earth fault, and pulse location. The device works with any neutral treatment without a cable current transformer. Waveform recording with export to COMTRADE and detection of intermittent earth faults are provided. Together with CAPDIS-S2_55 (R5) it detects partial discharges, their frequency and trend.
Control and automation. The controller controls motor drives of load-break switches and earthing switches, up to two, with 1.5-pole safety. There is freely programmable logic for 32 rules, automatic transfer switching and setpoint monitoring. The device has 6 digital inputs and 6 outputs, additional fault direction LEDs and key navigation. Communication and security. IEC 60870-5-104 is used for communication with the control centre, MQTT and REST for databases and control systems, Modbus RTU for slave devices. The LAN works with TLS encryption. Access is separated by roles with passwords, remote firmware update goes through REST, and USB can be disabled.
Versions. IKI-55 M works only with Modbus. IKI-55 PQ additionally monitors voltage quality under DIN EN 50160, namely frequency, dips, overvoltages, interruptions and rapid changes under IEC 61000-4-30. IKI-55 T and T PQ connect sensors with a built-in temperature sensor with temperature compensation; the current and voltage measurement error is not more than 1 %. Supply 24 V AC/DC ± 20 %.
