Description
The device suits energy and industrial sites where protection, automation and telemetry channels share one optical network. TDM mode is based on SONET, and Ethernet mode serves packet traffic. ICON supports migration of analog channels to the optical network, so legacy channels can be moved. It also distributes precise time signals between substations.
