Description
When individual capacitors in a bank fail, the neutral voltage shifts, and BCV detects this shift. The natural unbalance, present in any bank from the new state, is compensated by the terminal, so the protection responds precisely to element faults. The protection schemes are built following the IEEE C37.99-2000 guide. The terminal suits earthed and unearthed shunt banks, and also reactors.
