ACA-500 / ACA-36 / CAMS-10K — capacitive PLC coupling devices for MV networks
ACA-500, ACA-36 and CAMS-10K connect PLC equipment to the phases of a medium-voltage network, and CAMS-10K also measures voltage. ACA-500 and CAMS-10K are rated for 24 kV, ACA-36 for 36 kV, with a coupling capacitance of 500 pF for the ACA and 10 nF for CAMS-10K.

Description
The ACA devices operate in the 2–30 MHz range and are fitted into the T-connector of gas-insulated switchgear to EN 50181, so they can be installed in an RMU without changing the cell design. CAMS-10K is designed for the 100 kHz – 10 MHz range and suits air-insulated switchgear, overhead lines and cables. The built-in voltage divider of CAMS-10K has an accuracy of ±1 %, so the device also provides a voltage signal for telecontrol. Together with PLC equipment they form a data transmission channel over MV cables and lines.
