SEL-787L — line differential protection for short lines and MV feeders

SEL-787L is an economical line differential protection terminal for short lines, important MV feeders and distributed generation connections. The terminal also includes directional overcurrent protection, arc protection, fault location and detection of high-impedance faults.

Inputs
conventional CTs/VTs or low-energy sensors (LEA)
Functions
line differential protection, directional overcurrent, arc protection, fault location, conductor break
Protocols
IEC 61850 Ed.2.1, IEC 60870-5-103, PRP, HSR, Modbus, DNP3

Price, availability and lead time on request. We help with analogue selection, customs clearance and delivery.

Description

The terminal works with conventional CTs and VTs or low-energy sensors (LEA) and monitors conductor breaks. Protocols are IEC 61850 Ed.2.1, IEC 60870-5-103, PRP, HSR, Modbus and DNP3. PRP and HSR give seamless redundancy of the substation Ethernet network.
