SEL-787, SEL-387 and SEL-387E provide differential protection of two-, three- and four-winding transformers at distribution substations and industrial facilities. The SEL-787 family replaces the SEL-587.

Description
The SEL-387 and SEL-387E also protect busbars, and the SEL-387E has voltage inputs and overexcitation protection. The functions include differential, overcurrent and REF protection, with 1 A / 5 A current inputs. The 787-3E and 787-3S have three-phase current and voltage inputs, with an option of a single-phase REF or voltage input. A 5-inch color touchscreen is optional on the SEL-787.
