SEL-710-5 / SEL-710 — MV motor protection
SEL-710-5 and SEL-710 terminals for protecting medium-voltage asynchronous and synchronous motors. They are used for auxiliary needs of power plants and in industry, including motors powered by variable frequency drives.

Description
The terminals replace the SEL-701 and SEL-749M, which simplifies modernizing existing cubicles. Functions include a motor thermal model, broken rotor bar detection, differential and arc protection. Synchronous motors get cos φ regulation. A 5-inch color touchscreen is optional.
