SEL-400G — comprehensive protection of generator and generator-transformer unit
SEL-400G provides primary and backup protection of a generator together with busbars and the unit transformer in one device. The terminal has 18 current inputs and 6 voltage inputs of 0–300 V, with a frequency range of 5–120 Hz.

Description
It suits all generator types: hydro, pumped-storage, steam and gas turbine. Current inputs accept 5 A, 1 A or 0.2 A, and the CTs of the generator, busbars and unit transformer connect to one device. Transverse differential protection detects turn-to-turn faults, and auto-synchronizing is built in. SCADA communication runs over IEC 61850 Ed.2.1, Modbus TCP and DNP3, with PRP redundancy and PTPv2 time sync.
