SEL-2664S protects generators with high-resistance neutral grounding against stator ground faults by signal injection. The protection works at standstill, during start-up and in operation. The SEL-2664 module adds rotor ground fault protection.

Description
The principle is based on multi-frequency signal injection and neutral voltage monitoring. The injected signal does not depend on machine rotation, so stator insulation is checked before excitation. The SEL-2664 module monitors the excitation circuit and works with the SEL-300G, SEL-400G and SEL-700G terminals.
