Description
An earthing transformer is designed for a specific network based on earth fault currents, their duration and the zero-sequence impedance. To order, an auxiliary winding is added to it, and then the same unit also supplies the substation's own auxiliary load. Another option is a stabilising tertiary winding. Auxiliary transformers are installed at substations, power plants and industrial facilities to supply auxiliary circuits.
