Classic porcelain metal-oxide SB high-energy surge arresters for substations up to 800 kV. The series has three mechanical versions and is used in seismically active regions and as a post arrester.

Description
The glazed porcelain housing is filled with inert gas and has a sealing and pressure relief system. The mechanical load is 10 kN·m for Type 0, 23 kN·m for Type I and 35 kN·m for Type II. Porcelain arresters of this series have been produced since 1962. The design and testing comply with IEC 60099-4.
