SO-52v11-eME — power quality analyzer for LV, MV and HV switchgear
SO-52v11-eME records, measures and analyses power quality in bays of low, medium and high voltage switchgear. Measurements are made in class A under PN-EN 61000-4-30 and assessed under PN-EN 50160. The analyzers are joined into a station network for continuous monitoring, and the data is processed by the SYNDIS PQ system.

Description
The analyzer continuously measures and calculates the quantities for power quality assessment under PN-EN 50160, that is, frequency, supply voltage, flicker, voltage harmonics and interharmonics, unbalance, signalling voltage level and events. The properties have been confirmed by tests under IEC 62586-2 in an independent accredited laboratory. As a separate function, the company names an event recorder with continuous recording and analysis of transients. Individual analyzers are joined into a network that forms the hardware level of a distributed station power quality monitoring system.
The version with one power quality module, SO-52v11-eME-1, measures 4 voltages and 4 currents at one point of the network. SO-52v11-eME-2 has two MJE-426 modules and measures simultaneously at two points, 4 voltages and 4 currents at each. Each module is configured separately, so measurements are possible at different voltage levels, for example on the HV and LV sides of a transformer or on a busbar and a feeder bay. To order, the analyzer is made for voltages only, with transient measurements and with a supply of 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 110–220 VDC or 230 V AC.
The basic configuration of SO-52v11-eME-1 consists of the MJE-426 module for 4 voltage and 4 current inputs, the PJC-911-1 central processor and the MZA-410 power supply. The processor has 3 Ethernet ports with replaceable SFP modules, RS-485, RS-232/422/485, USB, an SD card on the front panel, a Z-PCIe bus and a service RS-232. The optional STP-116 module adds 16 discrete inputs and 4 signalling outputs for collecting apparatus states or triggering recording. The design is modular in the 19 inch format, and the enclosure has an IP50 degree of protection as standard.
Data is accumulated in internal memory of 4 GB or on an SD card and passed over Ethernet, GPRS or RS-485 to a server, where the higher-level SYNDIS PQ system processes it. Data sets are stored in COMTRADE, PQDIF or a proprietary format with a specified aggregation time. The analyzer works online with SCADA of substations and supervision centres and with DCS of wind farms under PN-EN 61850, DNP3.0 or other protocols, and has a built-in web server. Power measurement in class 0.2S under PN-EN 62053-22 is optionally available, and cybersecurity is implemented under PN-EN 62351. The field of application covers substations of distribution companies and connection points of RES and large consumers.
