Smart'R Suite / 3S — online pollution monitoring system for overhead line insulation
Smart'R Suite (3S) online system for monitoring pollution of overhead line insulation, built from wireless sensors on the line and a cloud platform. It assesses in real time the risk of insulation flashover caused by industrial, coastal or agricultural pollution and sends alerts.
- Composition
- wireless sensors on the overhead line, data transfer over GSM, cloud analytics
- Functions
- real-time assessment of insulation flashover risk caused by pollution, alerts
- Purpose
- planning of washing and maintenance of overhead lines
Price, availability and lead time on request. We help with analogue selection, customs clearance and delivery.
Description
The sensors are installed directly on the overhead line, and data goes over GSM to the cloud, where the analytics run. The operations team sees the current flashover risk level by line section and receives alarm signals in advance. The system supports predictive maintenance of overhead lines, and its data is used to plan string washing and other work on the line.
