Description
According to the failure statistics quoted by the manufacturer, more than 60 % of transformer damage is related to electrical or dielectric faults, and many of them are accompanied by partial discharges. Continuous PD monitoring shows the development of an insulation fault before it leads to a failure. The sensor configuration is selected for the specific transformer. PDM data enter the ETOS system together with the other transformer parameters.
