Modus, Modus Slim2 and Modus mini are electronic gas volume correctors that convert the operating volume measured by the meter to standard conditions using pressure, temperature and the compressibility factor. They have a built-in communication module and are certified to MID (MI-002) and ATEX. For custody transfer gas metering.

Description
The corrector receives pulses from the gas meter, measures pressure with a piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor with an error below 0.25 %, and measures temperature with a class A PT1000 sensor. The pressure sensor ranges run from 0.6–2 to 20–80 bar (abs.), including 0.8–2, 0.6–3.5, 0.9–10, 5–24 and 10–40 bar (abs.). The compressibility factor is calculated per ISO 12213-2 (AGA8-DC92), ISO 12213-3 (SGERG-88) or AGA NX-19, and the correction factor per EN 12405. All models are intended for metering at gas distribution stations, industrial and commercial sites, district stations and biomethane production plants. All models are certified to MID (annex MI-002) and ATEX and have a built-in communication module.
Modus is a two-channel corrector with data logging. It has two independent PTZ channels and an LF pulse input up to 3 Hz, the second channel also accepts HF signals up to 5 kHz, and there are additional inputs for station monitoring. It may be installed in hazardous zone 0. It is controlled remotely from SCADA systems via the Modbus and UNI TS 11291-3 (CTR) protocols and runs on a battery for more than 5 years, and for permanent communication it can be powered from the MPower intrinsically safe barrier (mains, solar panel, microturbine).
Modus Slim2 is a single-channel corrector with integrated sensors and a GSM/GPRS modem, using the UNI TS 11291-3 (CTR) protocol. The IP66 polycarbonate housing measures 180×150×40 mm, and the explosion protection is II 1 G Ex ia IIA T3 Ga. The battery can be replaced in the hazardous area without breaking the metrological seal.
Modus mini is a compact single-channel corrector for commercial and industrial consumers. It has a 2G/LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT modem, the DLMS/COSEM and UNI TS 11291-14 protocols, a graphic display, an optical port per EN 62056-21, IP66 protection and the II 2G Ex ib IIC T4 Gb version. The metrological battery lasts up to 15 years and the modem battery up to 5 years with one session per day. The SGERG-mod-H2 formula per DVGW G 685-6 is supported, so the device is suitable for hydrogen blends up to 20 %. The correctors are configured with the Modus Configurator software.
