Description
The three-phase dual-channel DTSU666 meter from KSTAR is designed for more powerful metering points than the single-phase DDSU666 rated 100 A / 40 mA. It works with 250 A / 50 mA current transformers over two independent channels and is suitable for single-phase and three-phase systems with AC-coupled connection.
The channels operate independently, so the KSTAR meter sees the grid or photovoltaic side and the load side at the same time, without mixing these flows. This makes it possible to monitor, for example, consumption and generation with one device and to see the complete picture of energy flows at the site. According to the manufacturer, it is convenient in KSTAR BlueSpark three-phase storage systems. The device measures voltage, current, frequency, power and power factor, and keeps a record of active energy in the forward and reverse directions. Active power is updated approximately every 50 ms, and the readings are shown on the LCD. The dual-channel scheme is especially useful where separate metering of generation and consumption is needed without a second meter on the DIN rail.
The network is three-phase four-wire (3P4W), the reference voltage ranges from 3 × 57.7/100 V to 3 × 240/415 V, and the frequency is 50/60 Hz. The measurement accuracy of voltage, current and power is ±0.5 %, and of energy ±1 %. The normal operating voltage range is 207–253 V, and the extended range is 184–264 V.
The meter has two independent RS-485 interfaces with Modbus-RTU. Baud rates range from 1200 to 115200 bit/s, with 9600 by default. The design provides external quick-connect current transformers, RJ45 ports and automatic phase sequence correction, which simplifies installation and quickly gives zero export. The compact enclosure takes up 4 modules on the DIN rail.
Mounting is on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, and the extended operating temperature range is −40…+70 °C, so the device withstands harsh conditions. Application: commercial sites and more powerful private houses with hybrid inverters and energy storage, where the current at the metering point exceeds the range of standard meters. For smaller sites the single-phase DDSU666 model is sufficient, and this KSTAR model is intended for currents up to 250 A on each channel.
