DGA 900 online analyzer of 9 dissolved gases in transformer oil
The stationary online DGA 900 analyzer measures 9 dissolved gases and the moisture content in transformer oil. It is used for continuous diagnostics of power transformers and their OLTCs.
- Measured parameters
- 9 gases (H₂, CO, CH₄, C₂H₂, C₂H₄, CO₂, C₂H₆, O₂, N₂) and moisture content
- Method
- photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS), no carrier gas
- H₂ range
- 5–5000 ppm
- C₂H₂ range
- 0.5–50 000 ppm

Description
The instrument determines H₂, CO, CH₄, C₂H₂, C₂H₄, CO₂, C₂H₆, O₂ and N₂ by photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS); no carrier gas is needed. The range for hydrogen is 5–5000 ppm and for acetylene 0.5–50 000 ppm. The analysis cycle is set from once per hour to once per 4 weeks, and a full analysis takes about 30 minutes. Power supply is 100–240 V AC or 100–250 V DC. The line includes DGA 900, DGA 900 PLUS, MULTITRANS and TAPTRANS, the last one for OLTC monitoring.
