iHost (Cloud / Solo / Pro) — control center monitoring software for fault indicators and network sensors
iHost collects in one place the messages about short circuits and earth faults from network indicators and passes them to the control center within seconds. The platform archives monitoring data and controls devices remotely. It is offered as the cloud service iHost Cloud and as the server versions iHost Solo and Pro up to 5000 RTU.

Description
The platform connects short-circuit and earth fault indicators and other network sensors to the control center. Its first task is to make sure that a fault message immediately reaches the responsible personnel, so that the power interruption is shorter. This applies first of all to the Smart Navigator 2.0 overhead line indicators, which exchange data through iHost over mobile communication. The network operator Westnetz ordered 400 sets of Smart Navigator 2.0 after a pilot stage in which four sets on sections with frequent faults reported all events without a single false signal.
The second task is monitoring. The platform continuously collects and archives measurements from the whole network and shows an overview of significant quantities, from which current problems are visible and measures can be planned in advance. Data are provided for external processing through an API when needed. The user sets up visualization and automatic notifications. Centralized management shows the state of devices, and from the control center their configuration is changed and software is updated without sending a technician.
iHost Cloud works as a web service (SaaS) and suits small applications and pilot projects. No software needs to be installed, and access is opened from any device with internet by a personal login. Fault and warning notifications arrive by SMS and e-mail, field devices are connected on a plug & play basis, and a short briefing is enough for personnel. The cloud version is rated for 1–1000 RTU, and the license is issued per RTU per year.
iHost Solo is intended for medium-sized distribution networks of 100, 500 or 1000 RTU. The platform is installed on a server or virtual machine in the customer's network, and data are stored only there. Field devices are connected through a private APN, and data go to the control center under the protocols IEC 60870-5-101/104 or DNP3. iHost Pro is rated for 2000, 3500 or 5000 RTU and for systems with high availability requirements, and it runs on several synchronized redundant servers.
iHost connections are encrypted, and the system is updated regularly. The company's processes are certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, which matters for network companies classed as critical infrastructure. The platform is used by distribution network companies in the digitalization of overhead and MV cable networks. Compatible devices also include the ComPass series, and third-party sensors are connected on request.
